I didn’t blog about this before but right before leaving for G.theguidon.com relaunch party I was approached by one of glance’s reporters that were at the event to pose for a picture that was to be featured on their fashion article on the ACTM first GA (which had a mafia theme).

I’m not one to actually think a lot about fashion. I usually just try to look nice but I think the ACTM first GA (combined with the G Relaunch) was one of the days where I really decided to mix and match and find something that worked. I didn’t have to look much to find something black and sort of formal since I stocked up a lot of those from latin dancing hahaha.

I decided write about AI after the result show instead of the performances this week just to change it up a bit. As my dad and I expected, Jason Castro said good bye to the Hollywood stage this week after a (lets be honest) struggling performance of “I shot the Sheriff” by Bob Marley. Jason was actually one of my favorite contestants during the start of the season but eventually I lost faith in him.

I don’t really agree with the common notion that Jason didn’t really want to be there but I do believe that he just didn’t try enough. His reaction to the judges, “I was thinking Bob Marley” somehow made really uneasy about he was treating the competition. He was really a unique contestant but the problem I guess comes with how unfamiliar he was with the singing competition.

As for my rants and raves from last night’s performances, Syesha definitely pulled through. Let’s face it, the odds we’re practically against her with half the world voting for Archuleta and the other half choosing between Jason and Cook. I loved Syesha’s performance of Proud Mary, it was definetly entertaining a lot like her performance of “One Rock and Roll too Many”.

Cook seemed to be uneasy last night but he was still really good as usual and David Archuleta once again stole the show last night with both his performances.

I did see one amusing pattern in last night’s performance. It seems that the contestants we’re singing song’s previous eliminated contestants from this season had performed. Anybody remember Josiah Leming?

And who could forget Danny Noriega
