Room Cleaning

I was forced to clean my room (for the third time this semester) by my mother today. The relatively quick transition of my room from clean and organized to messy is probably a testament to my creative/free thinking (It’s quite easy for me to break structure even if I was the one who created the structure).

It’s quite easy for me to get lazy on cleanliness and organization on holiday. This is specially true for christmas when new stuff starts pouring in from christmas presents. Here is a before-shot of my bed and what I sleep in at night. (click the image to enlarge)

This is what I sleep in at night . 1. Pillow 2. Unsorted clothes 3&4. Dirty clothes 5. School Bag 6. So-called Bedsheet

It took me only 40 minutes or so (because I didn’t really sweep the room and I dumped all my unopened presents on my desk) but here is the after shot.

1.Cabinet fixed with unsorted clothes now sorted 2. Unwashed Pillow still unwashed but organized with my Spongebob and Loony Tunes Pillows 3. School Bag empty of dirty clothes 4. Bed with new actual bedsheet 5. Shoes organized according to rotation

While I was in the cleaning mood I decided to prune the categories of my blog as well. Over the past four years they’ve gotten a bit out of control with subcategories and mix-matched posts essentially making the posts within a specific category not have a common subject at all. I’ve deleted the “UAAP” category since all three posts that we’re in there we’re also part of its parent category “school”. I’ve re-arranged “Philippines”, “Politics” and “Life” so that Philippines will still true to having feature-like posts on the Philippines things unique to the Philippines:-).

Yes, I can overly obsessive compulsive at times but… still I can’t find myself sticking to a structure.
