I think it was last Monday when I came to school a little bit later than usual and got held up while the national anthem was being played at the university (it usually plays at 8:20 – 8:30 time span). As I was walking from the SEC I noticed my Sci 10: Science and Society teacher, Loyola Schools Vice President Achoot Cuyegkeng behid me at the small island between the two lanes of the parking lot. A car was moving in the right lane and she went down the island, moved infront of the vehicle, place her palm and front the car and halted the car. I have to say it was a little funny seeing a well little woman like herself command a large van to stop but she did have a point
. I never knew the whole stopping for the Philippine National Anthem applied to vehicles though.
