Progressive Boredom

Let me start of by saying that the new macbooks are hot hot hot!! I really like the new macbooks, apple has actually listened to customer complaints and change most of the things that people didn’t like about the macbook. I don’t think it would crack or chip off that easily now that its in aluminum and if is it just me or did they put bigger speakers? The graphics have been upgraded (though it’s still a shared memory) but making the macbook stronger. I was really hating myself about it since I got Anita during the summer but when I saw the prices my jaw just out right dropped. If I had waited for this aluminum macbook I wouldn’t even be able to afford since they did increase the price by 200 usd (so if you add taxation to that and US-Peso exhange rates… your looking at somewhere between 90,000-110,000 php). Anyways, I still love Anita, I ain’t going to trade her off just yet… probably wait two or three years to save up the money then get it for my college graduation.

Semestral break has been pretty boring but it has been at the very least a little productive. Let me begin by saying I PASSED ACCOUNTING! To the side you’ll see a shot of my “Individual program of study page” where you can see if you passed (P) or failed (F). We don’t know our grades yet but this has eased the tension quite a bit. I was pretty sure I was going to fail when I saw my fourth long test last Saturday and this has just taken a load off my shoulders! I might have a bonfire sometime this week and burn my Accounting book cause I have just been victorious against Venus Ibarra, the most evil department head of the Ateneo! hahahaha *shoots a frost bolt*

I’ve also started cleaning up my room. My room sort of reflects the stress level of my semester and by the looks of the aftermath, I was probably on the verge of getting an Ulcer from all the stress. I’ve had little progress though mostly picking up dirty clothes that have piled up. Now at least I have a space to practice latin ballroom when I get the urge to.

Every time I hear Keep Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis now I get the urge to move my hips in a figure-8 and dance rumba! I can’t wait till the club starts this November and this is going to be one of my new driving factors to go to school. Thanks to Osan Mendoza I now have a video of our Rumba performance last September 28! here it is I’m actually in the back row with PC here.

    Congrats on passing accounting! I hope you enjoy burning your book lol. I think that’s a great way to end a stressful course!

    I’m not a Mac fan. I don’t know what it is, I should love them being the creative person I am, but they just don’t appeal to what I want apparently…that and I can’t afford to spend that much money on a computer (not to mention all the programs etc). I hope you get your new macbook one day though. I just got a new laptop myself and am quite enjoying it (it’s the first computer that’s actually been all mine!)

    congrats on passing.

    The only thing I dont like about the new macbooks is that they no longer come in solid black. All they would have to do is positively charge the base, and negatively charge the paint..and presto chango..black macbook. If it wasnt for the fact that they dont have black, I would be selling my black one and getting a new one XD

    I KNOW! THE NEW MACBOOKS are just PURRRRFECT…i love to get one for myself =.(
    But I just bought my own DSLR – Sony a350 and I haven’t started paying that up yet coz I have it under 12 months no pay no interest plan so I’ll be paying that up next year. Until I pay off everything that’s when I can think about purchasing a macbook UGH.

    Life is sooo lonely without gadgets =.( And I’ve been dreaming to have my own macbook since like FOREVER.

    I cannot THINK of any creative person not wanting a MAC. As far as I know, CREATIVE = MAC.

    It’s just the way it is!
