63 is the magic number

This a screen shot of my desktop. If you’re wondering what 63 is 63 is what I need in the next logtest to pass accounting 15. I know it seems kind of low but if you just knew how hard accounting is and what the average score is for my class per long test you’d be shocked. You need a total of 180 points cumulative of the 4 longtests (highest possible score is 400, 100 each longtest). My first longtest wasn’t so bad 41.5 which is still somewhere in the good zone compared to most of the batch. My second though was harsh 32, I really found accruals hard. My last one was easier cause I studied dead ass for it, 43.5 (lol what an improvement, studying a whole weekend equals an added 2 points).

I don’t know if this is still possible!

It might be a hard score to get to, but at least when you either hit or do better than it you really have something to be proud of.

I don’t know how much time you have, but breaking up the material into smaller portions and going set by set each day can do wonders for learning the information better than cramming.

Interesting idea to put your “magic number” on your desktop, what a sure fire way to get motivated! Yuck I remember all the accounting classes I took for my first associates degree. Good luck and hopefully you get an even better score. Just remember not to study all at once break it up. If you study over several days you may retain the information better.

That’s one good way to get motivated, especially since your number seems to pop out more than the character chick on the front.

    That sounds really hard…

I remember though that once I had to get around… 95% on an exam just to get an overall pass mark of 50% (I totally bummed out on the assignment component of the class) and I did it… so things that seem way out are often achievable when you’re focused :)
