Well after talking to my parents last night I finally got them to agree on getting me a macbook. We all agreed that I’ll be getting a laptop soon but the problem is defining what “soon” is for my family cause they usually have problem when it comes to initiative. Today though I finally got them to set up a schedule and on Wednesday afternoon we’ll be buying my white macbook at Trinoma.
We have this little trend at school where we give names to our laptops, since I now have a macbook I have to find a name for it. I thought of a lot of names but I really can’t decide on one. I thought of “Maggie” from The Simpsons because my old desktop PC is named Lisa. I wanted “Phillip” from the Rugrats because if there is a chance I’ll e buying another computer or electronic gadget in the future, I could name it “Lillian”. “Stewie” and “Brian” came from Family Guy because I love their little tandem on that show. What do you guys think? What should I call my laptop? Comment to vote!

Will it be Phillip?
Or will it be Brian?
Congrats on the new laptop! Macs are amazingly wonderful, so I hope you enjoy it. As for a name, I like maggie the best. Then again, you should probably decide if you want a male laptop or a female laptop first. It might help!
Congrats on your Macbook. I was going to get one of those but it cost way too much for me. I think if I was you I would call it Maggie. The only name I would NOT choose is Phillip, mainly because there is another computer company called that and some people may get confused.
Haha, how about J-E-A-L-O-U-S? Because that’s what I’m feeling right now. I’ve got my parent’s to half promise me to get a mac for when I graduate high school next year but I can’t wait. I like how the Macbook is white and is 13 inches small but Consumer Reports is telling us that the 17 inch Macbook Pro is better…maybe by the time I graduate apple will have a newer better Macbook…maybe even in a delicious granny-smith green!
I don’t know about those names, it’s just my opinion but I prefer more unusual names…like Bella or I don’t know.
I so want a macbook.

Macs are awesome. Though I think naming things are a bit too much 
I would suggest Brian though. I think it’s perfect since like the computer, Brian’s the most intelligent, articulate dog you’ve ever met. 
I think Maggie is a great name, but I personally would go for either Stewie or Brian. Only because I totally love Family Guy, and not so much liking the Simpsons.

It’s cool you’re getting it soon. You must be pretty excited, yeah? I would name it Stewie. Because Stewie rocks. Brian is cool, too… but Stewie would make for a better computer name. It’s so, how you say, evilly delicious.
My family’s the same way with getting things done… they’re not necessarily lazy, but it seem like whenever I have needed or wanted something, it was always put off.

my parents are as equally reluectant and full of inertia as yours, I guess they are trying to delay the purchase indefinitely, heh. It’s interesting that you actually give your laptops names, I’ve never thought about it before. I don’t really have a personal attachment to any specific model of laptops I’ve used before, only when they start to fail and I’ll be praying hard that if they do, don’t screw with my harddrive 
Maggie will be a nice name! Maggie is cute, quiet but very expressive - that probably explains why she’s my favourite character in The Simpsons.
If I were you I’ll name it Stewie!
